Hosanna: I suppose I should introduce this song by explaining the pattern in the story songs in this project. I originally wrote a cantata titled, "He Came Unto His Own", which was based on the Book of John covering the last weeks of Jesus life. As we started recording, I soon realized that there were other songs that needed to be included in the project. Only Lazarus, Alabaster Praise, Mary and Hosanna were included from the cantata. Perhaps someday I will record the cantata in it's entirety.
