Portrait of God's Love: This song was the first written in the project, originally with a different melody and structure. I was visiting a friend, seriously ill in the hospital some years ago and was amazed by her compassion, so concerned about other peoples needs. I came away with the image of two painters standing side by side with their easels. If the paintings represented all that I did in the time apportioned to me in this life. My observation of her heart and compassion, changed my painting forever.
