| Alabaster Praise
Alabaster Praise was conceived or adapted from the Gospel of John with
Mary, the sister of Lazarus, pouring her extravagant perfumed oil on Jesus'
feet. Originally a song, it soon became the mantra for the self sacrifice
and utter abandonment that must lie on the ground floor of any ministry.
It was only fitting that the group should bear the name that so captured
the heart of worship in my writing. Alabaster Praise is the highest
aspiration, the deepest joy and the heavenly prelude. - Herb Williams

Tim is a multi-talented musician,
inventor and engineer.
Being involved with Alabaster Praise since it's inception, his contributions
to the music go much farther than his masterful guitar work. In addition
to playing electric and acoustic guitars, including all of the solo parts,
Tim plays bass and programs drums. He co-produced the project The
Narrow Way as well as mixing and engineering many of the tracks.
Tim has invented, created and constructed many devices for the recording
studio as well as other endeavors. His Studio Pet is an extremely
versatile event programmer, which provides for a seemingly unlimited supply
of programmed events placed throughout a project during recording or mixdown,
one that came in handy as we worked on many of the songs.
Tim has recently invented and created the Solo Act, an environmental
control system for individuals having severe disabilities, such as spinal
cord injury, or quadriplegia. Take the time to review his company
web site http://www.taplink.net/.
Tim has been playing guitar for more than 20 years, playing professionally
for more than 15. |
| Kevin Martin has a background
as a Respiratory Therapist as well as various singing "gigs" and projects
starting in California before migrating to South Florida more than ten
years ago. Meeting during an audition six years ago, I was immediately
impressed with his heart for the Lord and seemed certain he was the right
person to perform my songs, even before I heard him sing. As a songwriter
finding the person to sing and interpret my songs is a vitally important
and nerve-racking decision. We began to work together and it was
obvious to Tim and myself that Kevin was uniquely gifted with the vocal
versatility to sing the songs we envisioned in the project. He contributions
were instrumental during each song's development and ultimate final recording.
Kevin's ear for vocals and arrangement was an added bonus that I had not
considered. But what is most appealing is his heart for the message
and using his gifts to minister, which comes through clearly in his performances.
Kevin is a songwriter in his own right and is working on songs to be added
in the current project. You can email Kevin at kevin@alabasterpraise.com |
